Arena Fit Instructors
Heath Weber
Britni Hilts
Sioux City native, Britni Hilts, is a mother of two and the owner of Sioux City resale boutique Envy My Closet. She has been an instructor for over five years, and teaches strength, cardio and kickboxing classes, focusing on on proper technique to increase strength and minimize the chance of injury. After eight years in this fitness family, making several lifelong friends in the process, Britni still truly enjoys helping individuals of all physical capacities achieve their goals. When you leave her classes, you’ll feel accomplished (and definitely sweaty!).
Cole Miller
Cole is from Muscatine, Iowa, and moved to Sioux City with his wife, Mallory, almost 2 years ago. He is a chiropractor in the Morningside area and has enjoyed serving and helping the Siouxland area for almost a year now. He coaches group fitness classes, including strength, kickboxing, cardio, and HIIT and enjoys pushing members to the limits while still helping them keep proper technique and posture during each exercise and lift. Cole is a die hard Iowa Hawkeye fan and alum and played on the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball practice squad while going to school there. He also enjoys playing basketball, golf, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals!
Cara Kern
Cara is a life-long Sioux City resident who has been a High School Math Teacher for 25 years, and a fitness instructor for four. You will see her teach a wide variety of classes aside from yoga, but her favorite is Fit X—”If it involves sweating and moving, I will teach it!” Shelly loves the group fitness aspect of Arena Fit, and the fact that our family pushes each other to work hard.
Dena Neiman
Dena has been teaching Kickboxing, Strength and Cardio classes for almost a year. When she’s not at the gym, you can find her at Siouxland Community Health Center, where she works as a Nurse Practitioner. As an instructor, Dena puts an emphasis on proper form and technique. She enjoys helping others engage in physical activity to support their physical and mental well-being, and as well as seeing the effect exercise can have on confidence.
Jen Cunningham
Jen is registered nurse based out of the Siouxland Area. She transitioned from member to trainer and for over six months, has been instructing strength, cardio, kickboxing and spin classes. Her favorite part of teaching is pushing members beyond their comfort zones with the hope they will gain a better view of their physical and mental capacity. When she’s not at the gym, Jen enjoys spending time with her two kids (ages 11 and 8), doing DIY projects, cleaning, organizing, event planning and traveling.
Jenna Bork
Jenna is a 6th and 7th grade science teacher at North Middle School in Sioux City, who has also been teaching group fitness at Arena Fit for one year. Whether it’s kickboxing, cardio, strength or HIIT, Jenna enjoys motivating and helping members achieve their fitness goals, and loves to see them each day with a smile on their face. Apart from the gym, Jenna enjoys coaching youth and high school sports teams. She has a love for sports, having been very involved in athletics growing up—including four years playing basketball at Morningside College!
Morgan Froehlich
Shelly Pratt
At Arena Fit, Shelly teaches yoga, spin, and group classes. B for her, teaching goes far beyond the gym—Shelly is third grade teacher for Sioux City Schools at Morningside STEM Elementary! A yoga instructor for eleven years and group fitness instructor for five, she loves getting to know the members, helping them achieve their goals and feel good about themselves. In her free time, Shelly enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, listening to music, and hanging out with my 6-year-old twins, husband and two dogs.
